Ownership and Service Provider

LANDE SA, as the owner of this website and provider of information society services, in accordance with the applicable legislation on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce), provides users with the following general information:

Scope of Application

The LSSI applies to the following services offered via the Internet when they constitute an economic or profit-making activity for the service provider:

  • Electronic commerce.
  • Online contracting.
  • Information and advertising.
  • Intermediation services.

An economic activity is deemed to exist when the website owner receives direct income (from electronic commerce activities) or indirect income (through advertising or sponsorship derived from electronic activity).

In principle, the LSSI does not apply to non-profit activities (such as those of political parties, trade unions, associations, NGOs, etc.) provided that they do not constitute an economic activity. The Law applies directly to all activities carried out by electronic means that have a commercial nature or pursue an economic purpose.

LANDE SA is responsible for the website and makes this document available to users in order to comply with the obligations set forth in Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), Law 7/1996 of 15 January on the regulation of retail trade, and Law 3/2014 of 27 March amending the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users, as well as to inform customers of the terms of use of the website.

Applicable Law

These general terms and conditions of use and contracting are governed by Spanish law. In accordance with Article 29 of Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, electronic contracts between entrepreneurs or professionals, in the absence of an agreement between the parties, shall be presumed to have been concluded at the place where the service provider is established.

In the event of any dispute arising from these general terms and conditions, the parties submit, at their own choice and expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply, to the Courts and Tribunals of the registered office of LANDE SA as stated in this Legal Notice, that is, in the city of Madrid.
